ISO Stands for International Organization for Standardization. It develop and publish International Standards. ISO doesn’t provide certification or conformity assessment. You’ll need to contact an external certification body for that.
Standard
A standard is a document that provides requirements, specifications, guidelines or characteristics that can be used consistently to ensure that materials, products, processes and services are fit for their purpose.

There are five broad stages in the certification process:

* We assess your management system
* We carry out routine surveillance visits
* We reassess you before the expiry of your current certificate
* We help you to manage changes.
